At the corner of State and Chestnut streets, floor-to-ceiling windows peek into what could be a farmhouse kitchen spread in a Crate and Barrel catalog. Rustic meets industrial in the 100-seat dining room with concrete floors, a white kitchen hutch and chunky light-colored wood tables and chairs. With soft yellow overhead lighting and airy voices of indietronica bands, the atmosphere is not out of place for the neighborhood. The menu, curated by New York-based executive chef Adam Starowicz, changes seasonally. With an entire section of vegetable dishes and plenty of veg- and pescetarian-friendly items in the small plates, salads and mains. Meat eaters will also feel welcome with pork carnitas tacos, ribeye, a burger and herb-roasted chicken. The cocktail menu focuses on classics (all $14), with options such as a cucumber-basil gimlet and rye manhattan.
