Located in a group of buildings owned by William and Henry Dawson (hence the name) this Billy Lawless-operated restaurant features new American cuisine from chef Rene De Leon, who previously worked at Alinea and Next. The menu features new American dishes, with options such as chicken fried NY strip steak ($32), pork shank with pappardelle and oyster mushrooms ($26), a juicy burger with bacon, white cheddar, bourbon glazed onions, fried pickles and chile dijonaise ($14) and more. For starters, guests can indulge in seared crab cakes, pickled onion rings and pozole, among other unique dishes. The decor of the joint parallels its modern menu, with an open kitchen, vast bar and glass atrium foyer.
