The Arts Club's building, designed by architect John Vinci, opened in March 1997. The two-story, brick building includes the famed Mies van der Rohe stairway that was part of the Arts Club's original space at 109 E. Ontario St.

Since its inception in 1916, the Arts Club has been a strong supporter and leader in presenting the visual, literary and performing arts. Its exhibition history has included Picasso, Braque, Brancusi and other comparable figures.
