Executive chef Jeff Mahin brings this California pizzeria to Lincoln Park, where he serves up hundreds of artisan pizzas--from signature creations like the shaved mushroom with gruyere to the homemade organic Italian sausage, pizza lovers will rejoice at the offerings at this dine-in. Small plates, salads, sandwiches, pastas, breakfast items, pastries and breads are also on the menu. But, getting back to the pizza, the toppings range from butternut squash, candied bacon bits and more, served on a doughy or "thin sin" crust because you know, Californians are always watching their waistlines. And don't skip the cocktails--they are balanced and as good as anything you'd find at dedicated cocktail salons around town. Try the Italian Highball ($11), featuring the herb-infused digestif Averna, Cynar artichoke liqueur, lemon juice and spicy ginger.
