Dinner is offered in either 8 or 12 courses in this upscale restaurant upstairs from its more casual counterpart, The Loyalist. Prices are $135 and $195 respectively. The restaurant's name comes from the time the owners spent in the farmlands of Smyth County, Virginia. Dishes served come from humble beginnings and given a twist of imagination. A living room-style lounge offers comfort near the surrounding tables and open kitchen. The 12-course dinner begins with Sunchoke Cannoli, smoked & dried beet seasoned with scallops and ends with a frozen tomato mousse, noyaux, and spicy flowers.  In between dine on aged carrot roasted beef and brioche and slow cooked shoulder of lamb with kelp marmite.  The informal atmosphere offers the suggestion to "come as you are".
