Open for 101 years (first in 1912, then with new ownership in 1966) the traditional dinner spot serves up classic American dishes and some with a modern twist. Pork chops, lamb chops and ribs all grace the menu ($15-$20 an entree), but where the dinner spot really wins over its return customers is with steak. Aged for 15 days, each hand-cut steak (NY strip, filet, chopped and more) will make your mouth water. Seafood lovers will enjoy the various fish selections, such as whitefish, scrod and salmon. Our advice: visit the bathroom at least once during your meal - you'll see why (hint: it's the old school decor).
