Calling itself a "modern speakeasy of sorts," this Warehouse District dining destination offers nostalgia-tinged sophistication. Look for a custom-made tile floor with Art Nouveau patterns and a floor-to-ceiling wine rack--Sepia offers a 100-bottle, boutique wine list, with most selections less than $75. Chef Andrew Zimmerman, previously chef de cuisine at NoMi, creates a product-driven, seasonally focused contemporary American menu. There's also a large lounge area serving cocktails made with fresh seasonal ingredients. In early June 2011, a private dining space for 80 will be unveiled for private corporate and social events. Look for grey bamboo flooring, an open layout and big, bold chandeliers with textured, metallic coverings on the wall.
