Traditional British pub fare makes its way to Lincoln Square, with a menu full of classics such as shepherd’s pie and fish ‘n' chips. You’ll also find lots of from-scratch cooking and daily specials with items such as cold chicken curry salad, various types of goulash and other dishes inspired by recipes from the owner’s great-uncle who was a cook in the British Navy. The cozy, pub-style decor is augmented by work from local artists in a gallery-style setting, adding to the artistic charm. Right now the spot is BYOB, but when a liquor license arrives sometime in 2011, expect to find English ales alongside local Chicago favorites like Half Acre.
