At this Streamwood-based Italian bakery and deli, the owners know how to create the perfectly crispy Italian cannoli, giant slice of pepperoni pizza or gooey plate of baked mostaccioli. Franco and his wife Emily opened the spot in 1995, which sells both ready-to-eat and take home dishes such as pizza, Italian sausage, Italian subs, homemade focaccia, spaghetti and meatballs and more. The joint also features a variety of daily specials, which could be anything from eggplant parmesan, to stuffed peppers, to pasta primavera. Have a sweet tooth? Be sure not to leave without a homemade cookie, cannoli, or piece of tiramisu.
