The third location of this quick-service vegetarian/healthy food spot will serve the same customizable falafel sandwiches as the original Boystown and Oak Park Falafills when it opens in March 2012. More than 20 toppings, ranging from zhoug (spicy chili sauce) to tabbouleh are available (with labels for newcomers), along with freshly squeezed juice, sweet potato and regular fries. Also on hand: two types of stuffed falafel, jam-packed with items like sauteed onions and chanterelle mushrooms. Although the Loop location offers seating for about 10, owners Maher and Marwan Chebaro and Nemer Ziyad, of Mediterranean food giant Ziyad Brothers Importing, expect most customers will take their falafel to go.
