This Boystown spot will offer shareable small plate dining and 25-30 signature drinks--including martinis with traditional American spirits and saki infusions--when it opens in late June. The menu from executive Chef Matthew Dean, who also runs the kitchen at the owner's Oak Park eatery Velvet Rope, includes modern Asian fare such as pepper garlic chicken, cashew chicken, homemade wontons and egg rolls. The space, which previously housed an adult toy store, has been outfitted with neutral tones, black leather and charcoal brown microfiber suede couches and zen elements such as (naturally) bonsai trees. A VIP lounge-type area in front sits 10-12; DJs spin top 40 and dance tunes on weekend nights.
