Yoga Basics is the go-to class for those new to yoga or those returning after a period of inactivity or injury. The class meets once per week for six weeks and introduces students to fundamental postures (asana), breathwork (pranayama) and yogic philosophy. Students will gain an understanding of the benefits of yoga for their own physical and mental condition, ways to modify the practice to meet their own needs and gain confidence to attend our regularly scheduled classes. This session meets weekly through June 6.
