Wine To Water (W|W) is proud to kick off its three-city movie premiere tour of its 20-minute award-winning documentary “I Can. I Do.” at The Logan Theatre in Chicago on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. The evening includes talks with Nepal Program Manager Roshani Karki and Director of International Programs Josh Elliott, a reception and silent auction and more. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at http://winetowater.org/filmpremiere, with proceeds going towards W|W clean water efforts. Named the “Best Short Documentary” at the SENE Film Festival 2019 and the “Best Film” at the Destination Unknown Film Festival 2019, “I Can. I Do.” highlights the nonprofit organization’s clean water projects and captures the impact of water in the lives of people around the world. The movie premiere tour will continue with showings in Charlotte, N.C. and Washington, D.C., in 2020. “This inspirational film is a showcase about how people can find their purpose within their passions while serving those around them,” said David Cuthbert, CEO, Wine To Water. “We are so excited to share the personal journeys that have led some very special people around the world to serve others in numerous ways. Their efforts have a ripple effect that is transforming the future of entire communities.” Without a script, the film crew captured the profound impact of water in the lives of people around the world. Produced by Matt Rath and Jacob Snyder of Worthy Portrait Productions, the documentary shares the stories of W|W National Program Managers, Jhonny Anderson (Amazon), Roshani Karki (Nepal) and Radhames Carela (Dominican Republic). Witness how their service through water and their generous spirit has transformed thousands of lives in their communities. “We all have something good to share. This is a story of necessity, purpose and overcoming internal fears. Watch as Jhonny, Roshani and Rhadames discover their personal identities as they fight for clean water in their own backyards,” said Rath, film producer. Join W|W in Chicago for an evening of wine, film, inspiration and community. Schedule: Doors Open: 7 p.m. Film Premiere: 7:30 p.m. From the jungles of the Amazon rainforest to the shattered landscape of the Nepali mountains to the tropical landscape of the Dominican Republic, witness Jhonny, Roshani and Rhadames work tirelessly to serve their people. Wine reception to follow.
