Two singers from Lyric Opera of Chicago’s renowned Ryan Opera Center are showcased in a recital that reflects on the patriotism and adversity of World War I. "When I Was One-And-Twenty: A Celebration of the Armistice" performance includes a special cabaret-style food and drink package. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a cocktail hour and the recital begins at 6:30 p.m. The performance is part of “A Time for Reflection a Message of Peace” a series of events that commemorate the centennial of the Armistice that ended World War I.
