The Midwest Regional Office of UNICEF USA will host the twelfth annual UNICEF Gala Chicago at The Geraghty. Funds raised at the event will support UNICEF’s work to save and improve the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children.  The UNICEF Children First Award will be presented to Rotary International to honor their contribution for the betterment of children around the world. Headquartered in Evanston, Illinois, Rotary unites people of action from all continents and cultures to deliver real, long-term solutions to the world’s most persistent issues. Eradicating polio has been Rotary’s top goal for more than 30 years, and alongside UNICEF and partners in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, they’ve achieved a 99.9 percent reduction in polio cases by working together to immunize more than 2.5 billion children. The evening will feature interactive UNICEF installations, seated dinner, live auction and entertainment from Musicality and the Ken Arlen Evolution Orchestra.  UNICEF works in more than 190 countries and territories around the world and has saved more children's lives than any other humanitarian organization. The evening is a celebration of UNICEF’s work, as well as a tribute to the outstanding humanitarians who make our work possible.
