An evening of three one-act plays from the Suffrage Theatre, which was active from 1907 -1914 and a vital element of the British Women’s Suffrage Movement. A Chat with Mrs. Chicky and Miss Appleyard’s Awakening by Evelyn Glover. Also, George Bernard Shaw’s 1909 Press Cuttings is a farcical comedy that ridicules the arguments of the anti-suffrage movement.
