This multimedia one-actor show combines hip-hop and history to tell the story of the Civil Rights movement. Presented by Chicago Children's Theatre, this Writers Theatre show weaves together accounts from Chicago-based individuals both famous and little-known who were active in the civil rights movement, including Rev. Samuel "Billy" Kyles, who knew Dr. King, and artist Margaret Taylor Goss Burroughs, founder of the DuSable Museum of African American History.
