If you love designing or building structures, you might just be an engineer-in-the-making. Work with a team to brainstorm, build, and rebuild a 3D balsa wood tower (basla wood is the lightest and softest commercial hardwood timber). Sketch out your design and make sure it can handle some weight! We’ll test it out to check for functionality and see which team’s holds up best. Educational Support programs this summer are sponsored by Huntington Learning Center. All programs and events at The Bridge Teen Center are free of charge and are available to students in 7th-12th grade only. A completed and approved Student Membership Application is required before students may attend any Bridge programs or events. To complete an application, visit www.thebridgeteencenter.org and click "apply now". There are no residency restrictions to attend Bridge programs, however, students must meet all eligibility requirements and adhere to our Code of Conduct. For more information, visit www.thebridgeteencenter.org or call 708.532.0500. The Bridge Teen Center is located at 15555 S. 71st Court in Orland Park, Illinois (behind Dunkin' Donuts).
