Recognizing that there are fewer government funding sources to help kids with special needs, the Special Kids Network is holding its 16th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament, to raise funds for local organizations. The beneficiaries for this year’s event will be Keshet, Visualize and Rize, GIRF and Eye to Eye. Former Chicago Blackhawk great, Jeremy Roenick; and Chicago Bears lineman, Jermon Bushrod, are honorary chairpersons. There are a limited number of tickets still available. For those non-golf fans, a women’s tennis tournament is held simultaneously. For information, visit the website.
