Modernisme - related to Art Nouveau - was a typically Catalonian regional architectural movement. While there were more than 100 practitioners active from 1880 to 1910, Donna Primas will focus on Lluis Domenech i Montaner and Josep Puig i Cadafalch, going past the facades and exploring the interiors of the Palau de la Musica Catalana, Hospital de Sant Pau, and Casa Amatller among others.
