The 14th annual North Center bash features live music and about 50,000 pounds of ribs and barbecue from more than 20 vendors. On Friday night, a dozen professional eaters compete in the third annual rib-eating contest, RibMania. A family area (open noon-7 p.m. Saturday-Sunday) features live entertainment for kids, plus inflatables and games. The fest closes at 10 p.m. nightly.
