Chicago Paris Cabaret Connexion presents: Experience Paris from the 1920's to 1960 as we pay tribute to African American culture in Paris. Art, Literature and Music were all a part of this important movement. Hear the music of Bricktop, Josephine Baker, Eartha Kitt and others who made or sustained their careers in the City of Light. This exciting concert features Chicago vocalists Frieda Lee, Lynne Jordan, Greta Pope, Ava Logan, accompanied by pianist Miguel de la Cerna and others. Special guests Michèle Barbier and Mylène Launay of Paris. 6:30 PM Reception to meet Michèle Barbier, personal secretary to Josephine Baker, vice-president of the Alliance Francophone, founder of the Kreatika festival of singer-songwriters.
