The 23rd Siamsa na nGael celebration, Old St. Patrick’s Church’s annual celebration of Irish heritage and annual gift to the people of Chicago, will bring world-class Celtic entertainment to the Chicago Symphony Center. The tales will be narrated by award-winning NBC Chicago political reporter Carol Marinand Franklin Delano Roosevelt granddaughter Anne Roosevelt. It will be celebrated through performances by soloist Gavin Coyle; Chicago’s own Irish diva Catherine O’Connell; renowned gospel and opera singers tenor soloist Rodrick Dixon; sopranoBeverly O’Reganand music by the Metropolis Symphony Orchestra, the 100-voice Old St. Patrick’s Concert Choir, the step dancing of the Trinity Irish Dancers, bag pipers, the Irish Trad Band, the After School Matterssingers and many others
