The Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra at the Henry and Leigh Bienen School of Music presents two large-scale works by Russian composers this winter: their program “Giants of Russian Music,” conducted by Victor Yampolsky, showcases Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6 in B Minor (“Pathétique”) and Stravinsky’s  “Le Sacre du Printemps” (“The Rite of Spring”).
