North Suburban Synagogue Beth El, in partnership with the Esperanto Society of Chicago and the Polish Ministry of Culture, host this traveling exhibit celebrating the 100th anniversary of the death of Dr. Ludwik Lejzer Zamenhof. He was a Jewish ophthalmologist from Poland who created Esperanto, the most successful constructed language in the world. A reception with Dr. Eric Killian, President of the Esperanto Society of Chicago is held, with the exhibit on display through Oct. 28.
