The sneak attack on the U.S. Pacific Fleet’s base at Pearl Harbor compelled the United States to enter World War II. Codebreakers were essential to victories of a number of battles during this time. The daughter of LT Charles Baugh, L. Sue Baugh, recounts the newly uncovered story of her family’s legacy in World War II and the heroic work of military and civilian codebreakers. The museum is located adjacent to Gate 1 at Naval Station Great Lakes. Call or email NMAS.FCT@Navy.mil for more information, or followon Facebook: www.facebook.com/nationalmuseumoftheamericansailor
