All worms are not good guys, and there is a new invasive worm species in northern Illinois called the jumping worm. Join the Univ. of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners in McHenry County and Brad Herrick, ecologist and research project manager at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum, for a program titled “Our Newest Invaders, the Jumping Worm.” To register each guest separately and prepay for this class, visit the website. For questions, call Brenda Dahlfors, U of I Extension Master Gardeners volunteer coordinator.
