Each heritage interpreter takes an active role in researching and telling captivating, unique stories on the history of the Barker Family and Michigan City through the primary sources in the mansion archives. Every Wednesday evening this March, join to hear presentations which begin at 6 p.m. and last 1.5-2 hours with refreshments served. Select dates will include short tours of the mansion archives and other sections of the house. Scheduled: March 13: Bailey Roberts presenting on “Sexuality in the Gilded Age;” March 20: TJ Kalin presenting "'Give my house to Eugene Debs!' The Pullman Riot and John Barker" March 27: TBA.
