Memory Unearthed offers an extraordinarily rare glimpse of resistance inside the Lodz Ghetto during WWII, through the lens of Polish Jewish photojournalist Henryk Ross, who risked his life to document the realities of life in the ghetto.  This event presents more than 300 of Ross’s powerful photographs. The opening program features a panel discussion with exhibition curator Maia-Mari Sutnik, Curator Emeritus, Photography, the Art Gallery of Ontario; and Judith Cohen, Chief Acquisitions Curator, USHMM.
