Bask in the sounds of sunny Spain as the DuPage Symphony takes you to the Iberian peninsula through the music of Spanish, French, and Russian composers of the 19th century.  Excerpts from Bizet’s opera Carmen and Massenet’s opera Le Cid, plus Chabrier’s España and Fauré’s Le pas Espagnol, complement the richly colorful Capriccio Espagnol of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.  Add to that a few authentic Spanish treats by Falla and Albeniz for an unforgettable evening under the stars!  Music Director Barbara Schubert conducts the acclaimed DuPage Symphony Orchestra in this lively summer program.  Bring a picnic, bring your friends, and enjoy a “virtual visit” to sunny Spain. Prices are for a passport, admitting one car and its occupants, up to four people. This is a rain or shine event. Tickets are nonrefundable.
