Plant Chicagoʼs Closed Loop Forum & Fest 2018 is focused on cultivating local circular economies. The forum is where experience and ideas on neighborhood production, consumption and waste will be shared. It is a great place to collaborate with neighborhood businesses and local innovators, especially within urban agriculture and sustainability. The fest is a place to learn new DIY skills and share resources while enjoying music and food from all around Chicago. The Forum, running from 9 am - 1 pm, will be an active discussion on catalysing local circular economies featuring exciting innovators working to strengthen local economic systems. A poster session will be held from 1-3 pm to highlight circular economy research happening throughout Chicago. The Forum is free to all with a recommended donation of $10. Breakfast included! The Fest will be from 1-7 pm and feature live music, art, and food representing the diversity of Chicago. The Fest is a family friendly fundraiser with activities for all ages, including material reuse crafting, bike repair workshops, fish fillet demos, vegan sushi, beatboxing, and more! Children 12 and under enter for free. Proceeds will support Plant Chicago’s  education, market, and research programming. In alignment with our mission, this will be a zero-waste event. Admission for the Fest is $15, and beer tickets are $5.   Facebook Link: Ticket Links:
