The Alyssa Alvin Foundation for Hope will hold its first event, a Benefit Concert for Hope and silent auction, followed by a reception. The concert will include piano, oboe and strings. AAFH was started in memory of Alyssa Alvin, a Geneva High School graduate who lost her battle with leukemia in 2014 at the age of 18. The foundation will provide musical instruments, visual art supplies and hope to young cancer patients. A variety of lavish gift baskets have been supplied by Geneva merchants.
