Artists Assaf Evron and Claudia Weber will transform the former McCormick House of the Elmhurst Art Museum. Israeli-born Evron creates an installation inspired by Mies’s handmade collages to connect features of architecture with ideas about immigration. The German-born Weber will actually reside in the other half of the McCormick House to research the house, create changing installations, interact with visitors, and host a variety of events. Follow her activities online at and via Instagram @150southcottagehillave. This exhibition will be complemented by The Whole World a Bauhaus, a celebration of Bauhaus100.
