This documentary screening looks beyond the sublime musician to the polio survivor whose parents emigrated from Poland to Israel. Experience the story of the young man who struggled to be taken seriously as a music student when schools saw only his disability. A wine and cheese reception, featuring a live violin performance by Miriam Friedman will follow. Open to the community, free of charge; RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or call.
