Catholic Charities will host the 29th Anniversary of Saint Nicholas Ball to benefit the children served by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago. The annual black-tie gala will kick off with a reception followed by dinner and dancing and a late night cafe with entertainment provided by the Ken Arlen Orchestra, a world-class 17 piece orchestra. Proceeds from the event will benefit the children served by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago offered through Catholic Charities including its nine child development centers, after-school programs, counseling services, and teen parenting centers.    Back by popular demand, all guests of the Spirit of St. Nicholas Ball are invited to participate in the newly added Celebration of Giving Toy Drive! Donations of new, unwrapped children's toys and gifts will be accepted at the entrance of the Ball. All the toys collected will be distributed to the children that Catholic Charities serves this Christmas season. Participation in the toy drive is entirely optional for any Ball guest.
