P.J. Clarke's Lincoln Park and the Tree Top Room are temporarily closed for restructuring. Check back for future updates.A second spinoff of
P.J. Clarke's opened in Lincoln Park in late 2007. The first floor barroom mirrors the vintage look of the original with red-checkered tablecloths and a woody bar, but owner Jonathan Segal (who also owns Minnies and is a partner in Japonais and Le Colonial) has created a very different look for the second floor restaurant. The whimsical-meets-kitschy retro-inspired supper club theme features bold red stripes, custom-made trellises, white plank wood flooring, and 1920s-30s inspired artifacts and furnishings. The menu features comfort food faves from the original P.J.'s like the meatloaf dinner, hot turkey sandwich and chicken pot pie, plus there’s slow-roasted lamb and pork cooked in an exhibition rotisserie kitchen.
