Lucia Ristorante features traditional Italian favorites. Appetizers include baked clams, carpaccio and calamari, served either grilled or fried. Salads lean towards the classics with Caesar and Caprese, but also offer some interesting alternatives like the insalata riccia (watercress with walnuts, raisins and blue cheese in a sweet balsamic vinaigrette). More than a dozen pasta dishes are available, including the house specialty gnocchi alla Romana with tomato sauce, fresh basil and parmesan cheese. Entrees include picatta di vitello al limone (medallions of veal sauteed with lemon, capers and pine nuts), pollo alla contadina (sauteed chicken breast with cherry tomatoes, black olives, thyme, basil, garlic and onions), and gamberi gratinati (breaded shrimp in a white wine, garlic and butter sauce). For dessert there's tiramisu, cannoli, sorbets and gelati.
Lucia's Deli, a casual carryout concept that shares a kitchen with the restaurant, is entered via North Avenue.
