The menu at this eatery follows strict Muslim dietary guidelines. You won't find pork -- or alcohol -- but you'll be able to choose from plenty of grilled kebab options, including filet mignon, salmon, quail and boneless chicken breast.
Pullao, an aromatic rice dish served in a traditional clay pot, is a house specialty. Other entrees include frontier chicken -- grilled breast with tomatoes, onions, herbs and spices, and yogurt-and-spice marinated veal T-bone steak.
The brightly colored handmade furniture is imported from Gujranwala, Pakistan. The dining room's festive glass-topped tables and chairs are punctuated with hand-crafted pillows, screens, draperies and artifacts. The idea was to create a room that is reminiscent of a Pakistani village chopal, or gathering place.
