Shikago

190 S. La Salle St.
Chicago, IL 60603
312-781-7300
Kevin and Alan Shikami, the brothers behind River North's now-shuttered Kevin are behind Shikago (no, it's not a typo – it's a blend of Shikami and Chicago). The space sports a modern Asian interior and three dining options; there's a carryout, a lounge and a restaurant in the Loop space, each with it's own menu. The carryout features bento boxes, sushi, Vietnamese-style sandwiches, Asian salads, noodles and soups for those on the run. The restaurant menu lists more ambitious fare like a bulgogi-marinated ribeye with scallion pancakes, ginger roasted shiitake mushrooms and a red wine-soy reduction. Dig into Asian-style tapas like yakitori, steamed dumplings, Korean-style pancakes and samosas in the lounge, or order entrees from the restaurant's menu.
