The Kinetic Playground window decorations (psychedelic murals of Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, The Doors, The Who and Led Zeppelin...to name a few) should clue you in to what type of bar it is; fans of classic rock gather together to knock 'em back. The inside of the bar is full of couches and stools with a great view of the stage. There's also a raised seating area in the back for some privacy.
The sound inside is top notch. Walls are three feet thick and completely soundproof, and honeycomb metal throughout the bar makes for the ultimate aural experience. Take down the windows and this place could be a recording studio. Though most of the bands that perform here play rock, the bar does like to mix it up.
