Lincoln Park Conservatory

2391 N. Stockton Drive
Chicago, IL 60614
312-742-7736
In the dead of a Chicago winter, this conservatory is a tropical oasis. Where else can you surround yourself with greenery from all over the world, including ferns, cacti, palm trees, and flowering plants? There's an azalea and camellia show in February; an Easter show in March or April; a Mother's Day show; a summer flower show; a chrysanthemum show in November; and a Christmas show in December. The Bates Fountain greets you at the entrance with bronze storks, fish and small boys frolicking in the spray. Outside the conservatory is a Shakespeare Garden featuring about 20,000 flowers and plants mentioned in the Bard's works.
