Rebel Bar & Grill
3462 N. Clark St.
Chicago, IL 60657-1610
773-975-2010

The folks behind Waterhouse and Bluelight are behind this sister spot in the former Ivy on Clark address. This two-story, neon-free sports bar's outfitted with 18 plasma TVs, black-and-white photos of "rebel" athletes and celebrities (We like the irreverent shot of Johnny Cash), and two spruced-up old bars. (The 100-year-old back bar on the main floor was salvaged from a bar in St. Louis; the upstairs back bar is from the now-shuttered Tequila Roadhouse -- and before that, the original Exit in Old Town.) The menu offers a lineup of burgers, sandwiches and salads. Menu highlights include ballpark-ish snacks like mini-corndogs and a baked soft pretzel with cheese and mustard sauces.
