Bluelight
3251 N. Western Ave.
Chicago, IL 60618

The folks behind Waterhouse and Bowmans have given patrons a reason to head under the Belmont and Western Avenue viaduct. Bluelight has been a Roscoe Village staple since the early ‘70s and has adapted well through the passage of time: The latest owners have added features like a DJ booth, flatscreen TVs, a jukebox, two new bars and a spacious private party room in back. But they've stayed nostalgic by using vintage beer memorabilia from the ‘60s and ‘70s. Hungry? Ask staffers if you can have a look-see at a collection of delivery menus behind the bar.
