Isn't it ironic that the new Bottom Lounge will open under the L tracks, after the original Lakeview location was closed in late 2005, and ultimately torn down, to make way for the CTA's Brown Line expansion? Well, Mike Miller (Delilah's) and the original owners teamed up to bring Bottom Lounge back, and as you might have guessed, they've gone for bigger and better. The two-floor bar/restaurant/live music venue amps up the original concept and aims to create a fun night for all. In fact, the second floor rum-focused Volcano Room features an indoor/outdoor appeal that will go over well in the summertime.
