Vintage Wine Bar and Restaurant

1942 W. Division St.
Chicago, IL 60622
773-772-3400
With an eclectic menu and an affordable international wine list (with lots of by-the-glass choices in the $7-11 range), this Division Street wine bar and restaurant is relaxed and down to earth. Bartenders can be quick with a suggestion -- perhaps a little too quick from our experience -- but are generally on the mark. Rich hues dominate with exposed brick walls offsetting the vintage French wooden wine rack. The bar's metallic sheen (it's wood, we checked) and blood-red Plexiglass add a little character. A cozy lounge area near the front of the space offers plush seating and a fireplace.
