This outpost of the Hooters chain (founded in Clearwater, Fla., in the mid-'80s), like the other 170 branches, attracts a largely male clientele, thanks in great measure to the waitresses' uniforms of tank tops and short shorts. The customer base is a blend of residents, businessmen at lunch, conventioneers and tourists--with visitors holding sway on the weekends, says an assistant manager. Check out the bumper sticker collection plastered high behind the bar. Chicken wings and fries are popular menu items.
