The owner of comfy Italian restaurant Campagnola is behind this new spot (formerly known as Wild Geese in the weeks before opening) down the street on Chicago Avenue. On the menu: rustic Tuscan pizzas from a hand-crafted wood-burning oven and a range of small plates, soups, salads, and sandwiches and hearty dishes like duck ragu with polenta. The 25-table space also sports a 20 person lounge and relatively large 25-seat bar, serving up German and Belgian microbrews and 20-plus beers by the bottle, plus a diverse wine list of 50 bottles under $50.
