This bar has been featuring live music 365 days a year since 1989, when it was opened by Lonie Walker, a musician who plays three nights a week. The music is mostly improvised jazz and blues, with occasional appearances by guest artists playing reggae, funk, folk, Brazilian jazz and rock. Steve Winwood and Liza Minnelli are just two of the many stars who have stepped onto the corner stage in this long and dark bar.
