My wife and I went to Tocco for her birthday dinner. I had read mixed reviews, many of them stating that the place was over-priced and many of the staff had attitude.
My wife and I had a very pleasant experience. We had a calimari appetizer. The breading was very light and crispy, with the right hint of seasoning. We split a pizza, which was very good. The crust was thin and chewy, with very flavorful chewy cheese. It was loaded with salami. My wife had pasta, and it was perfectly cooked. Not that over-done mushy stuff.
The decor is a bit different. The color scheme is black-and-white, with a splash of raspberry. I have to say it isn't the warmest atmosphere. But it is stylish. My wife and I enjoyed the scenery of Italy played on a wall (we have been to Italy a few times, and enjoyed reminiscing).
