The owners of The Continental and Darkroom are behind West Town tavern with a beauty of a beer garden out front. Look for a modern rustic decor that makes use of stone and reclaimed oak, among other natural materials. Hearty menu choices include buttermilk fried chicken salad with green goddess dressing, super-spicy fish tacos and thick homemade pretzels with Guinness-spiked cheese dip. Good news for beer lovers: the bar is stocked with more than 30 choices, including 12 taps that will change seasonally. During the winter, half of the beer garden is tented and peppered with heat lamps.
